ECSACONM invites its members and partners to join the upcoming Learning Circles cohort, focusing on “Strategies by Nurses and Midwives to Effectively Reduce Maternal Mortality in Rural Communities through Postpartum Family Planning (PPFP).” This virtual series will take place in November, with four interactive two-hour sessions. Participants will engage in valuable discussions, starting with introductions on 6 November, followed by sharing what is working well on 14 November, identifying areas for improvement on 21 November, and concluding with a reflection and action planning session on 28 November. As a nurse Midwife and lecturer, it is important to get knowledge from other nurse regarding the best practices and strategies to reduce martenal mortlity through postpartum family planning, and educate the student nurses with relevant knowledge so that they can be able to be competent and implement these strategies in their communities while they are practicing and also continue once they start working in the communities
